Reference Assistant - Summer 2024 - Conservatory Library

The Conservatory Library will hire a half-time Reference Assistant for Summer 2024.
The Reference Assistant will work 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm Monday – Friday for the summer.
For the Summer, full time is defined as no more than 37.
5 hours per week.
Full-time summer employees will be entitled to two weeks (i.
e.
, ten (10) working days) of unpaid vacation.
Some evening and weekend work will be required during the Baroque Performance Institute (June 16 – June 29).
No vacations will be allowed during this institute.
Summer employees will be paid $12.
00 an hour.
Applicants will be drawn from the current Conservatory Library reference staff.
Spring 2024 graduates will be considered dependent on the applicant pool.
Interviews may be held to determine the summer appointments.

Responsibilities Responsibilities include: Providing reference assistance to library users Providing knowledgeable and prompt assistance for the attendees of the various Conservatory Summer Institutes will be of primary importance.
Special reference projects as assigned Qualifications Applicants must currently be on the Conservatory Library Reference Staff.
Compensation Summer employees will be paid $12.
