Keep reading to learn about the role’s essential functions, and preferred skills and experiences: Essential Functions: As a team player on our internal marketing agency, collaborate with account marketing leadership and Executive Account Managers, the Certified Angus Beef® sales leads, to provide comprehensive marketing support and strategy to shared accounts, in assigned regions.
Develop working relationships and communicate brand value with foodservice distributors, restaurants and retail grocery partners' Marketing, Sales and Executive teams, to service their business needs in growing their Certified Angus Beef ® brand sales, market penetration and consumer awareness.
Individualize strategies for the unique needs of each partner using our corporate marketing approach and ready resources.
Create annual marketing and training calendar for customers and lead all project management to implement.
Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions (audience size from a few to several hundred) to educate partners on the premium quality of Certified Angus Beef ® Comfortable presenting in corporate meetings and strategy sessions, with internal staff and external partners, to deliver marketing solutions and create ideas.
Project manage by initiating and coordinating the creation of marketing collateral and promotional resources.
This role is not to design or write copy but to identify marketing collateral needed, call to action for target audience and effective imagery and the work with our Public Relations and Design teams to create items following established brand standards.
Evaluate cooperative marketing and advertising campaigns, project costs and return on investment.
Identify strategic goals for hosting customers at the Culinary Center and deliver on the marketing and training solutions to reach goals.
Assist in the content ideation and creation of supporting marketing, sales and training resources for corporate events, such as Annual Conference and Food Service Leaders seminar, led by our Brand Experience team.
Participate in the development and execution of sales marketing divisional goals, as well as corporate projects as assigned.
Travel: Must be willing and able to travel (car or airplane), up to approximately 30-40%.
May require overnight travel and/or weekend work.
Location: This position is located in Wooster, Ohio.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Education/Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, in marketing, advertising, or agriculture business or communications; and Minimum five years of experience in marketing or relevant field with grocery, foodservice, restaurant, product sales or other consumer related brands.
Previous experience or education in the beef or agricultural industry is desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Professional and customer-service oriented attitude and personal conduct Strong project management skills Must be highly motivated, possess a positive attitude and have excellent organizational, interpersonal and relationship management skills Attention to detail and good follow up with brand partners, accounts and extended team Ability to consistently show initiative, problem solve and be curious Positively influence and work with others as part of a coordinated team effort Excellent communication skills and confidence in public speaking Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently and independently, manage multiple priorities, and prioritize assignments working within a fast-paced agency style environment Proficient use of computers, Windows based programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and proficient use of the Internet Familiarity with project management programs, such as Monday.
