*Job Overview:*
Manages the daily affairs of the Residential Services Unit, oversees the work of unit staff, provides direct services to program patients living in Center owned or managed residential sites and assists other psychiatrically impaired adults in achieving and maintaining successful community living.
Assures that all Counseling Center residential sites are operating in compliance with relevant standards from local, state, or national accrediting/licensing bodies.
Monitors and manages the work of individual program staff: assigns and delegates program work, assists in developing work management skills, and proposes corrective action, where required.
Schedules unit meetings, as needed, to collect and distribute information, provide feedback, and address unit concerns.
Keeps unit staff informed of program productivity, financial compliance and progress in meeting program goals and objectives.
Arranges, coordinates, and reviews patient referrals, treatment plans, and evaluations in order to assure accurate identification of patient need; and communicates information about individual patient needs to the staff.
Works cooperatively with residential assistants and the assigned Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment Social Worker/Counselor to assure implementation of the patient’s treatment plan and provides consultation and guidance when problems develop.
*Credentialing and Skills Requirement:*
* Licensed as an LISW or LPCC-S
* Knowledge and experience in working with a severely disabled psychiatric population
* Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form
* Ability to successfully engage patients in their recovery process
* Ability to deal successfully with sensitive issues
* Experience in management and administration, or evidence of both ability and a commitment to develop these skills.
* A commitment to quality care including timely and accurate documentation
* Ability to relate effectively to coworkers at all levels of the organization
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $70,000.
