ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage receipt/delivery of in-coming and out-going mail/packages
Sign for incoming registered mail, packages and or certified mail.
Collect & deliver all mail and packages daily.
Ship material in accordance with all shipping/postal regulations.
Ensure shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and ready for shipment.
Confirm shipping request.
Drive company vehicle for daily pick up and deliveries to and from the Post Office and off-site premise locations.
Make departmental purchases with corporate credit card and reconcile monthly statement
Maintain inventory of coffee and office supplies for both 300 building and Westlake office.
Order as needed.
Backup Receptionist/Operator.
Maintain building seating chart.
Handle Incoming shipments from different carriers.
Maintain received shipment log.
Investigate and reroute shipments not belonging to Amherst location.
Process FedEx shipments as needed.
Assist other departments with projects as needed.
Assist supervisor with department personnel schedules for PTO; and mail and receptionist coverage related to last-minute call-offs and lunches
Ensure department personnel are cross-trained for receptionist and mail room coverage
Manage event planning for meetings taking place at 300 Nordson Drive
Designated point of contact for Administrative Services department in Amherst
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
High school diploma/GED required.
Minimum 5 years prior experience in an office environment required.
Minimum 2 years prior experience in leading a team preferred.

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, customers, and employees at any level.
Excellent customer service in person and via phone.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Maintains professionalism under all circumstances.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities; ability to multi-task.
Willingness to provide any assistance requested.
Detail oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
Minimal – Travel to Amherst, OH post office and Westlake HQ for mail delivery/drop-off.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Office environment.
Must be able to lift boxes/packages up to 20 pounds.
