Qualifications: 2 years of experience in long term care, administrator’s license in state of Ohio, 4 year degree in related field, and 4 or more years of experience as a facility Administrator
As a Regional Director of Operations in a Grace Management Services facility you must be able to perform the following essential functions as demonstrated by the ability to:
Essential Job Functions:
Oversee assigned facilities in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the governing body in
compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Oversee enforcement of assigned facility policies and procedures.
Assist Administrators in defining standard operating procedures for physicians.
Act as liaison to the governing body for all facility staff members.
Prepare all reports required by management.
Attend meetings as required by the COO or as needed to best serve the interest of the company.
Assist with development of policies, procedures and quality assurance programs as needed.
Supervise and assist Administrators in daily operations including but not limited to staff management, financial and
budget management, clinical decisions, physician relationships, and community development for assigned facilities.
Assist Administrators in the recruitment, employment, performance, evaluation, promotion, and discharge of staff as needed.
Assume responsibility with facility Administrators for maintaining adequate staffing levels.
Assist Administrators with ensuring confidentiality and safe storage of current and closed resident records, personnel
records, and physical plant records with regulatory requirements.
Ensure proper approval and auditing techniques are in place for financial management at assigned facilities.
Ensure assigned facilities are providing resident care to the standards of the organization.
Participate in the scheduling, planning, and procuring of materials and information for staff meeting and in-service
education programs.
Develop relationships with community agencies providing services of benefit to your assigned facilities.
Develop one-to-one relationships with residents and families.
Assist in the development and management of facilities’ marketing materials, events, and public relations.
Make site visits to all assigned facilities on a regular basis to ensure proper management.
Serve as an active member of all committees, as needed.
Arbitrate complaints and disputes concerning residents, families, or personnel.
Assume responsibility for reviewing and evaluating all recommendations of the facility’s committees and consultants.
Assist Administrators in interpretation of all federal, state, and local regulations.
Establish systems to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Act as a liaison between the facilities and regulatory agencies.
Act as a liaison between the facilities and all resident advocacy agencies.
Act as a liaison between the facilities and all fiscal intermediaries.
Assume Primary Administrator duties as assigned by COO.
Perform other related duties as directed by the Corporate Board or Directors or Chief Operations Officer.
