As the General Manager of HighPoint Furniture, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing all aspects of our operations.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual with a passion for furniture retail, a proven track record in leadership, and a strong business acumen to drive our store's success.
*Responsibilities:*
* *Leadership:* Provide strong leadership to the store team, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
Set clear expectations, motivate team members, and provide guidance and support as needed.
* *Operational Management:* Oversee all day-to-day operations of the furniture store, including inventory management, sales, customer service, and merchandising.
Ensure smooth and efficient store operations to meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
* *Sales and Revenue Generation:* Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with the sales team to provide training, support, and guidance to achieve sales targets.
* *Customer Experience:* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and ensuring that customer needs are met promptly and effectively.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
* *Inventory Management:* Oversee inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and managing stock to optimize product availability and minimize out-of-stock situations.
Implement effective inventory control measures to reduce shrinkage and maximize profitability.
* *Marketing and Promotion:* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to attract customers and drive foot traffic to the store.
Utilize various marketing channels, including digital and traditional media, to increase brand awareness and sales.
* *Compliance and Safety:* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain a safe and secure working environment for employees and customers by adhering to safety protocols and promoting best practices.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the furniture retail industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Solid understanding of retail operations, sales techniques, and inventory management.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.
