POSITION SUMMARY: The Vehicle Salesperson is responsible to deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout their shopping, purchase, and ownership journey.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Nurture a culture of extraordinary customer and associate experiences.
Develop a portfolio of prospects and clients.
Execute specific processes to deliver consistent measured results.
Utilize the dealership CRM and other software to manage and grow sales opportunities.
Continuously expand professional skills education Achieve product knowledge expertise.
Achieve MFR.
Brand knowledge expertise.
Achieve aftermarket products, warranty, and other expertise.
Directly interact with customers to generate prospects and close sales.
Communicate via email, telephone, text, video, and face to face daily.
Monitor, manage and maintain accurate paperwork.
Manage and report daily productivity.
Report progress, challenges, options, and solutions to assure outstanding results.
Drive and park vehicles.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Prior recognitions of achievement and performance.
High energy, likable persona.
Positive, competitive, and resilient attitude.
COMPETENCIES, PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Problem resolution skills to realize excellence in all facets of the business.
Respectful embrace of digital retailing, technology utilization and customer service.
Verbal, written and digital communication skills are preferred.
Tenacity and persistence is essential.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Extensive walking, climbing of stairs, driving vehicles, occasional lifting (<25 pounds) Fast pace, multi-tasking.
Extensive personal interactions and communication.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Hours may vary daily to meet business demands.
Typical schedules run 8 to 10 hours five days a week.
COMPENSATION, BENEFITS AND REWARDS: First year $50,000 to $100,000 + potential Benefits are outlined in the handbook.
Outside (manufacturer) rewards and bonuses may be offered from time to time.
