*Job Summary: * The Production Planner plays a pivotal role in manufacturing planning activities, overseeing the creation of production orders, scheduling, and ensuring system integrity within manufactured inventory and production operations.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* • Generate and manage production orders to meet manufacturing demands.
• Conduct regular reconciliation of physical inventory counts with computer system records.
• Receive and manage all incoming steel raw materials, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Monitor inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, and implement solutions to reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate reporting of manufacturing operations and rectify any discrepancies as needed.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
*Education and Experience Requirements:* • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or 2-3 years of experience in production scheduling preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office software with strong data entry skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with a keen attention to detail.
• 1-2 years of experience with ERP systems preferred.

Production floor environment is warm in summer and cool in the winter.
*Physical Demands:* This is a full-time position; normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm.
Must be willing to work overtime as scheduled and required.

*O* *Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):* Safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required when entering the production floor.
