*Job Summary: *
The Production Planner plays a pivotal role in manufacturing planning activities, overseeing the creation of production orders, scheduling, and ensuring system integrity within manufactured inventory and production operations.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
• Generate and manage production orders to meet manufacturing demands.
• Conduct regular reconciliation of physical inventory counts with computer system records.
• Receive and manage all incoming steel raw materials, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Monitor inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, and implement solutions to reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate reporting of manufacturing operations and rectify any discrepancies as needed.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
*Education and Experience Requirements:*
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or 2-3 years of experience in production scheduling preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office software with strong data entry skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with a keen attention to detail.
• 1-2 years of experience with ERP systems preferred.

*Work Environment:* This position operates in an office environment and on the production floor.
Individual in position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, and phones.
Production floor environment is warm in summer and cool in the winter.
*Physical Demands:* This is a full-time position; normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm.
Must be willing to work overtime as scheduled and required.
