Description
Summary: Plans, lays out and performs complex welding operations on a wide variety of metals, including stainless steel, and alloys (nickel alloy) in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Essential Functions:
* 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 1:30am Mon-Fri
* Performs GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding
* Works on traditional projects and can perform most fit ups that AECO requires
* Understands advanced blueprint reading and welding symbol interpretation
* Works independently on a regular basis and judgement can be trusted
* Understands time expectations and most jobs are completed within time estimates
* Brake Press Operator needed for 2nd shift

Requirements
Experience with basic welding principles.
* Performs GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding with at least one certification
* Proficient with other tools; micrometers and calipers, etc.
Physical Requirements:
* Position requires physical capability which includes standing most of the time, some lifting up to 25 to 50 pounds, and pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching as needed.
* Standard shift is ten hours per day, with Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required.
Plant facility does not have air conditioning.
