JOB SUMMARY:
In this position, you will engage in the activities of planning and monitoring manufacturing processes.
You will develop and implement improved processes through data tracking analysis to ensure production efficiency and quality.
Assist in determining methods or actions to correct any malfunctions by testing and troubleshooting the equipment.
JOB DUTIES:
Assist in the design, construction, testing and troubleshooting of new equipment installations and perform operational test to ensure optimum running of equipment
Will create and assist in training for technicians and implement new procedures as production evolves
Assist in the operation of machinery necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Will assist and facilitate maintenance on the equipment as required to ensure that the equipment is producing quality product before and after each shift (safety-conscious)
Adhere to safety policies and procedures in operation of equipment
Carefully assess, set up, and monitor the quality outputs against standard as required to adjust/reset the equipment before and after each shift
Ensure/meet the schedule for the changeover of the machines and quality of outputs
Provide relevant information regarding progress by creating/maintaining activity logs
Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available always
Work overtime as needed
Perform any duties as required or assigned by management
Requirements:
2 yr Electrical Degree or Technical Certificate with 1-3 yrs experience (Must be at least 18 yrs old)
Must have knowledge of PLC ladder logic, VSDs, and VFDs, as well as basic mechanical ability
Must have the ability to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting.
Have the ability to learn new proprietary software and machine interfaces independently, as well as a basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
Thorough knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment utilized in the area of assigned work
Adhere to company safety policies, procedures and practices
Ability to understand and follow oral instructions.
Ability to read and interpret documents, work orders and job documents
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, managers, crew leaders and coworkers
Have a solid work history with good attendance and punctuality
Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, bending, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of lifting
