IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO: Design and develop electronics for new products, including cordless, intelligent, and connected professional tools Lead the circuit design for power electronics, mixed-signal, and embedded systems, including requirements development, analysis, and simulation Perform schematic capture and PCBA layout, while applying design best practices and relevant standards Specify and assist in the execution of development, product qualification, safety and regulatory compliance testing Conduct concept feasibility assessments and technical risk evaluations for new and emerging technologies Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior engineers, including hands-on troubleshooting, and debugging Provide ad-hoc product-life-cycle support including field investigations and manufacturing and supply-chain issue resolution Ensure the successful transition of designs from development to production by crafting manufacturing and test specifications WHO YOU ARE: You readily take action on challenges, without unnecessary planning.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 5 or more years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering Experience with schematic capture and PCBA layout Functional knowledge of test equipment and procedures Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART: Experience with design of power electronics for safety and EMC compliance standards (UL, CSA, CE, FCC, etc.
) Experience with design of mass-produced electronics (PCBAs, cable assemblies, etc.
