We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team in Oberlin, OH.
The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Requirements
Perform quality tests on items throughout the production process, from raw materials to intermediate stages to final product
Use test results to recommend changes to the production process as necessary for efficiency and quality
Document quality ratings and results in proprietary database
Inspect all received materials to ensure adherence to company quality standards
Develop and maintain inspection reports
Coordinate vendor returns for non-conforming materials
Ensure test/measurement equipment is calibrated and working properly
Ensure quality testing procedures do not hinder production
Promote Continuous Improvement - research industry standards in relation to AgriNomix’s products and quality goals.
Make suggestions that will further strengthen our internal Quality System.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities required)
Education: Minimum of High School Diploma
Ability to use measurement devices, such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical information
Ability to read and understand machine component drawings
Working knowledge of Windows with the ability to learn Smartsheet and Microsoft Teams
Excellent problem solving skills
Advanced organizational skills
Attention to detail
Experience creating reports and collating data
What Will Make You Special (Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities)
• Previous experience in the Horticultural industry
• Continual learning: A demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, including staying up to date with new technologies and best practices in the field.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Working mainly in our indoor manufacturing facility
• Frequent walking, sitting, standing, use of hands, and talking
• Lifting at least 50 lbs
