Systems Including: Heaters, thermocouples, load cells, encoders, 3-phase motors, relays, sensors, etc.
Provide preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical systems.
Record work and parts usage using our maintenance software.
Identify issues with equipment that require engineering or contractor assistance to repair or upgrade.
Comply with electrical safety rules and related industry regulations.
Basic familiarization of equipment and understanding of the processes.
OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers Maintain production volume and efficiency Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way Troubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must have 1 year of Industrial Electrical experience.
Proficient in the use of voltage mutli-meter, mega ohm meter, and amperage meter to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting equipment electrical issues.
Demonstrated skill in organizing work, setting priorities, troubleshooting, and sound decision making.
Strong and effective team communication.
Strong work and personal ethics.
Ability to deal effectively with company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to top management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment within and outside the Maintenance department.
Must be able to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift.
Physical Work and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 12-hour shift on a cement production floor.
The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel.
The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
